Poster Preparation Guidelines

1. The poster must be prepared in A3 size and portrait orientation.
2. The poster must include the participant's identification, consisting of:
   • Full name of the team leader and team members (for team submissions)
   • Affiliated institution or university
   • Country of origin
3. The entire poster shall be written in clear, accurate, and grammatically correct English.
4. The poster must address the main theme, "Overdose," and one of the official poster subthemes.
5. The poster must be an original work that has not been previously published, has not received awards in other competitions, and is not currently being submitted to any other similar competition.
6. The use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) to produce the entire content of the poster is prohibited. All data, analyses, interpretations, and written content must represent the participant's own work. The use of AI-assisted tools for language editing or grammar checking is permitted, provided that the scientific content remains entirely the participant's own.
7. The poster must present accurate, evidence-based scientific information supported by credible and reliable references.
8. All references must be listed at the bottom of the poster using a consistent citation style, such as APA, Vancouver, or Harvard.
9. The content of the poster shall be concise, clear, informative, and easily understood by an international audience.
10. The poster must include the following components, as applicable:
    • Title
    • Background or problem statement
    • Supporting data or evidence
    • Analysis or discussion
    • Proposed solution or recommendations
    • Conclusion
    • References
11. Participants may incorporate illustrations, graphs, charts, infographics, tables, or other relevant visual elements, provided that they are of high quality and effectively support the content.
12. All images, icons, figures, and other visual materials used in the poster must comply with applicable copyright regulations. Appropriate attribution shall be provided for any material obtained from third-party sources.
13. All raster images incorporated into the poster must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, and the final PDF must retain sufficient quality for digital viewing and printing.
14. The poster must be submitted in PDF format with a maximum file size of 10 MB.
15. The poster file shall be named using the following format: PILLARS2026_Poster_TeamLeaderName_Institution.pdf.
16. The organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify any participant whose submission contains plagiarism, data fabrication or manipulation, copyright infringement, or any violation of competition regulations. All decisions made by the panel of judges are final and binding.

Final Presentation Guidelines

1. Each finalist team shall be represented by its team leader during the final presentation.
2. Each finalist will be allocated 7 minutes, consisting of a 4-minute poster presentation and a 3-minute question-and-answer session.
3. The presentation must be delivered in English.
4. Finalists must present the same poster submitted during the preliminary stage and may not make substantial changes to its scientific content.
5. Finalists must comply with all technical and presentation instructions established by the organizing committee.
