General Competition Rules
- Participants must be active students enrolled in the Diploma of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Public Health, or Bachelor of Science (Chemistry and Biology) programs at accredited public or private universities, both nationally and internationally.
- Each participant must provide valid proof of active student status in the form of a student identification card or an official enrollment certificate issued by their home institution. Each team must also submit an official statement of the team membership declaration containing the names of the team leader, team members, supervisor, institution, and country of origin.
- Participants may register as a team consisting of 5–10 members, with one member appointed as the team leader.
- Each university may submit more than one team to participate in the competition.
- Each team may select only one sub-theme for their submitted work.
- A group may participate in multiple sub-themes only if each submission consists of a different team composition, including a different team leader and members.
- All submitted works must be relevant to and comply with the sub-themes established by the organizing committee.
- Submitted works must be original, unpublished, and developed without the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-generated content. The submitted work must not have been previously entered into similar competitions or received awards at national or international levels. Any participant found to have violated these requirements, including plagiarism, will be subject to disqualification. Confirmed plagiarism cases may be publicly announced through the official PILLARS publication channels. The maximum allowable similarity index is 25%.
- All participants are required to complete and sign a Statement of Originality. This document must be uploaded as part of the registration requirements. The official form can be accessed and downloaded at bit.ly/PILLARS2026.
- To receive official announcements, updates, and competition information, all participants are required to follow the official PILLARS Instagram account managed by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mulawarman University (@pillars_2026).
- All submitted works will undergo an initial evaluation stage based on administrative completeness and scientific assessment. Participants who successfully pass this stage will be selected as finalists and announced through the official communication channels of the organizing committee. Finalists will then proceed to the final evaluation stage.
- All decisions made by the organizing committee and the judging panel are final and binding.
