General Competition Rules

  1. 1. Eligible participants include those in the field of Pharmacy—Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Diploma of Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Pharmacist Professional Programs, and licensed pharmacy practitioners.
  2. 2. Each student participant must present valid evidence of active enrollment—either a student ID or an official letter from their institution—applicable to all team members, including the team leader.
  3. 3. Participants may join the competition individually or in teams comprising 2 to 3 members, with one member assigned as the team leader.
  4. 4. Only undergraduate (B.Pharm) students, pharmacy professional students, or licensed pharmacists are eligible to serve as team leaders. Diploma (D.Pharm) students may participate solely as team members. Each university can send more than 1 participant or team to this activity.
  5. 5. Participants are allowed to participate in only one type of competition and in one category, whether individually or as part of a team.
  6. 6. All submissions are required to align with the theme set forth by the organizing committee.
  7. 7. Submitted works must be original, unpublished, free from the use of artificial intelligence (AI), and must not have been submitted to similar competitions or received any awards at the national or international level. Participants found to have committed any violations or acts of plagiarism will be disqualified. All identified instances of plagiarism will be publicly disclosed through the PILLARS publication channel. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%.
  8. 8. It is mandatory for all competition participants to fill out and sign the Statement of Originality. The completed Statement of Originality must be submitted as part of the registration requirements.   9. 9. To stay informed with official updates, all participants must follow the official Instagram PILLARS account managed by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mulawarman University.
  10. 10. Submission of valid proof of payment through the designated registration link is a mandatory requirement for all participants.
  11. 11. All competition categories will undergo an initial administrative screening stage, the results of which will be announced through the official group and Instagram account.
  12. 12. All decisions made by the committee and judges are final and cannot be contested.
