Instagram Reels Administrative Rules

Competition Rules

  • 1. The video must be in accordance with the theme determined by the committee in each category. The main theme must be clearly incorporated in the narrative and/or visuals.
  • 2. The video must contain the logo of PILLARS, Mulawarman university, and participant's university.
  • 3. All submitted content must be original and must not contain any elements of SARA (ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group relations), violence, or plagiarism.
  • 4. Participants are strictly prohibited from using AI tools or AI-generated content in their video submissions.
  • 5. All participants must ensure that their Instagram accounts remain public from the moment their competition video is published until the end of the judging period. Failure to comply with this rule will result in disqualification from the competition.
  • 6. For participants competing in a group, the competition video must be uploaded through the Instagram account of the team leader. The team leader is required to tag all team members in the video post to acknowledge group contribution and ensure proper identification by the committee. The post must appear under the "Tagged" section and must not be hidden.

Format

  • 1. The video must be in English.
  • 2. The video's maximum duration is 5 minutes.
  • 3. The video format must be in vertical (9:16).
  • 4. The style of the video may include documentation, animation, illustration, educational content, or a combination thereof.
  • 5. The video must contain background, formulation of problem, discussion, bibliography and closing credit at the end of the video.
Important Notice

Failure to comply with any of the above rules will result in disqualification from the competition. Please ensure all requirements are met before submission.
